Atlanta Hospital Cuts 150 Jobs
Post Views 0Atlanta, Georgia’s Grady Memorial Hospital has eliminated 150 jobs. The cuts affect non-clinical workers and senior management.
The hospital system, which reported a $37 million loss last year, blamed the cuts on declining reimbursements and the rising rolls of uninsured patients. Grady delivers more than $250 million in free care per year.
Grady, which employs about 5,000, has a long standing issue with its inability to collect patient medical bills.
