Jos. A. BankJos. A. Bank Clothiers will refund the price of a suit if the buyer loses his job; and let the purchaser keep the suit.

“It’s like giving all of our customers a bit of unemployment insurance,” CEO R. Neal Black said.

If a customer loses his job, he’ll have an appropriate interview suit as he works on lining up his next position, Black said.

The rebate applies to any suit purchased during the clothier’s $199 sale, which runs from March 16th to April 9th. If the customer involuntarily loses his job between April 16th and July 1st, Jos. A. Bank will refund the purchase price of the suit, up to $199.

Customers will have to provide documentation of their job loss.

Hampstead, Maryland’s Jos. A. Bank has 461 stores in 42 states and Washington, DC.
