Dana Holding to Cut 5,800 Jobs

Dana Holding, a truck-axle manufacturer that exited bankruptcy in 2008, will cut more jobs as Ford and GM reduce production.

Dana will eliminate more than 5,800 jobs by the end of this year, up from the 5,000 announced last November.

Competitor American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings said Friday it may not remain in business as sales slump for GM and Chrysler.
