Henry'sHenry’s Farmers Market, planning to open a new store in the formerly tony San Fernando Valley suburb of Woodland Hills, saw hundreds line up Saturday to apply for about 100 jobs.

The positions pay from $10 to $25 an hour.

Within the first 45 minutes of the job fair, 200 people had interviewed for 100 jobs. The 118 parking spots at the Holiday Inn on Ventura Boulevard, where the fair was held, were full, and street parking was at a premium as well.

Hundreds of people waited patiently in a line that stretched from the rear of the hotel out to the front.

Henry’s Farmers Market is set to open May 6 in Woodland Hills. The Irvine-based company is hiring 80 to 100 people during the two-day hiring fair that began Saturday, and the company may hire more workers after the store opens.
