Maybe the Doctor can figure out this mystery!Sabic Innovative Plastics has announced it is cutting 48 positions from its Washington, Ohio plant.

Spokesperson Sheila Naab says the cuts are part of the company’s global restructuring.

Sabic eliminated 14 positions at the plant late last year, which it bought in September 2007 from General Electric Plastics.

Its website says: SABIC Innovative Plastics, launched in 2007, is a leading, global supplier of engineering thermoplastics with a 75-year history of breakthrough solutions that solve its customers’ most pressing challenges.

Now, if you can figure out how a company launched in 2007 has a “75-year history,” please let me know. Or talk to the guy in the picture.
