KV Pharma Layoffs Hit North Texas

St. Louis-based KV Pharmaceutical and its subsidiary, Bridgeton, Montana’s Ther-Rx, will lay off five sales employees in Coppell, Texas.

In addition, eight employees will be laid off at the company’s Frisco, Texas office.

The companies also laid off Texas employees in Ovilla and in The Woodlands, a suburb of Houston.

KV Pharmaceutical announced in February it would slash its work force by 1,700 employees.

The KV Pharmaceutical Company is a specialty pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures, markets, and acquires technology-distinguished branded and generic/non-branded prescription pharmaceutical products.
