Maury Regional Medical CenterThe Maury Regional Medical Center of Columbia, Tennessee is cutting 25 jobs and freezing salaries. The Center employs more than 2,100 people.

Five nurses are among those affected.

The hospital cites a significant drop in reimbursements from payers for care provided, and a 44% increase in charity care so far in the hospital’s current fiscal year.
