Verizon Creating 600 Jobs in Georgia
Post Views 1Cell phone company Verizon Wireless will open a new call center in Alpharetta, Georgia, creating 600 jobs.
The new center will include a $27 million investment in Alpharetta, where Verizon already has a 395,000 square foot campus.
Recruiting for the some of the new jobs begins this month, with hiring expected in May and training in July.
Verizon Wireless employs 4,000 in Georgia, and 85,000 in the US.
