Deere: 160 ‘Indefinite Layoffs’ in Iowa
Post Views 2Deere & Co., the world’s largest maker of farm equipment, has announced 160 indefinite layoffs at its Des Moines, Iowa plant.
The 160 layoffs will affect the workers with the least seniority, and will take place April 27th.
A week ago the manufacturer laid off 40 workers at its plant in Ottumwa.
The company employs 56,700 people.
