Jones Apparel to Close Stores, Cut 1,000 Jobs

The Bristol, Pennsylvania-based company will shut stores in its Nine West and Bandolino retail apparel chains.
Jones Apparel Group, a Fortune 500 company, is a designer, marketer and wholesaler of branded clothing, shoes and accessories. In addition, it markets costume jewelry under the Givenchy brand, and footwear under the Dockers Women brand.
