Software firm CA (formerly Computer Associates, is cutting 3,100 jobs and moving work overseas.

The firm employed almost 14,000 globally in 2008.

CA is a multinational computer software corporation headquartered in Islandia, New York. It develops and markets information technology management software, which it sells both directly via its sales team and indirectly via systems integrators, value-added resellers, and other service providers.
