Georgia State University Eliminates 300 Jobs
Post Views 3Georgia State University has cut 300 jobs due to budget cuts.
Of the 300 positions, 30 current GSU employees from various divisions were affected. The remaining cuts were vacant positions.
The University is also restricting travel, and will close for an additional week between the Fall and Spring semesters.
Georgia State University is an urban research university in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1913, it serves over 28,000 students, and is one of the University System of Georgia’s four research universities.
