Chico’s Expanding Georgia Distribution Center, Hiring 190

Chico’s FAS is expanding its distribution center in Barrow County, Georgia. The Fort Myers, Florida-based women’s fashion retail chain will create 189 full-time jobs there over the next three years.

In January, the retailer eliminated 180 positions, and announced the closure of up to 25 stores.

Chico’s is a retail women’s clothing chain founded in 1983 in Sanibel Island, Florida. The company currently operates 1,038 women’s clothing stores, including stores in 49 states, Washington DC, the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, operating under the Chico’s, White House | Black Market and Soma Intimates names.
