Greenwich CT Public Schools Seeking HR Director

Connecticut’s Greenwich Public Schools is seeking a new human resources director. Ellen Flanagan, the previous HR director, began as deputy schools superintendent two weeks ago.

In the meantime, Regina Williams, assistant director of human resources, will act as interim director of human resources until the position is filled.

Williams, age 41, has been with the district for five years, and has worked in human resources for almost 20 years.

In her role as assistant human resources director, she has worked to revise and implement a comprehensive evaluation system for professional assistants; researched and executed a new, Web-based teacher substitute system; and revised and implemented worker’s compensation procedure for the Board of Education.

Williams was formerly director of human resources for the state Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services.

She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1990.
