Lehigh Phoenix to Lay Off 54 in Wisconsin

Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s Lehigh Phoenix will lay off 54 employees by August, as it consolidates its production and administrative operations.

The firm also has plants in Hagerstown, Maryland and Rockaway, New Jersey.

Lehigh Phoenix is the principal provider of cover components, overhead transparencies and juvenile book production for the publishing industry in the United States. It previously operated as Visual Systems, and is owned by Armonck, New York-based Visant.
