Denmark’s LM Glasfiber Cutting 80 Arkansas Jobs

Denmark’s LM Glasfiber is cutting production at its Little Rock, Arkansas wind turbine manufacturing plant. Eighty workers will be shown the door, leaving 300 employed at the plant.

The company cut 150 jobs in January. The plant in Little Rock was opened just last October.

Kolding, Denmark’s LM Glasfiber is the largest manufacturer of wind turbine blades in the world with a market share of 25%. LM Glasfiber has manufactured more than 120,000 blades since 1978, saving nature more than 70 million tons of CO₂ each year.
