Christie’s Cutting More Jobs
Post Views 0London’s Christie’s International is cutting more jobs, due to a weak art market and contracting New York art sales.
The firm has already cut 10% of it workforce since January, when it had 2,100 employees. It has not said how many people will be cut in this round.
Founded in London in 1766, Christie’s is a leading art business and a fine arts auction house. Its US branch is in Rockefeller Center in New York City.
