Weatherford International Cuts 3,000 Jobs

Weatherford International has cut 3,000 jobs and shuttered over 20 facilities; and the firm intends to keep cutting.

The firm’s Q2 earnings fell a catastrophic 89%.

Weatherford employs approximately 46,700 employees worldwide, operates in more than 100 countries to include 125 globally distributed manufacturing facilities supporting 800 service bases and 16 technology development and training facilities.
