Twelve high school and 10 college students are employed by the program, through the National Institutes of Health, assisting researchers.
Stanford University School of Medicine is a leading medical school, located at Stanford University Medical Center in Stanford, California. Founded in 1908 in San Francisco as Cooper Medical College, it is the oldest continuously running medical school in the western United States. The medical school moved to the Stanford Campus in 1959.
