Sonus Networks Lays Off Another 93

Sonus Networks, which cut 60 jobs in March, has cut another 93 positions, bringing its total of layoffs this year to 243.

The Westford, Massachusetts company, which makes Internet network hardware and software, has been shedding jobs in recent months as part of restructuring.

Sonus Networks is a technology and telecommunications equipment company, and a provider of voice infrastructure solutions for wireless and wireline service providers. It was founded in 1997.
