California’s Optivus Proton Therapy is building a new medical center south of Dayton. The center will offer tumor therapy using proton beams that attack tumors without damaging the surrounding tissue. The new facility is expected to generate $170 million per year and create 400 new jobs, paying an average of $66,000 per year.
Construction will begin next year on the center and will be completed by 2013. The construction project itself will create 800 construction and construction related jobs.400 Jobs Coming to Ohio with a New Medical Center by Harrison Barnes
