Gannett Co. Publication Cutting 165 Jobs in New York
Post Views 0The Journal News, owned and operated by Gannet Co. and located just outside of New York City, is cutting 165 jobs. The job cuts will come as it outsources its printing and mailing operations to a company in New Jersey. The Journal News will also put its headquarters on the market. Once sold, the Journal will either lease back a portion of the space or relocate, according a memo circulated among the staff today.
Over the summer, The Journal cut 70 positions in news and advertising.
