Ohio Firm to Close Hudson Offices, 229 Will Lose Jobs Statewide

ohioflag_160x120The Berry Company will close its facility in Hudson, Ohio and lay off 81 employees in an effort to restructure its business. Patricia Nichols, director of corporate communications for the company claims the state of the economy was a not a factor in making this decision. The Hudson office will close on September 30, 2010.

Lay offs will begin in phases on March 16 and continue until about October 1. Across Ohio The Berry Company will lay off 229 employees company wide including 105 of 231 employees in Dayton, 20 employees in Moraine, 6 employees Cincinnati, and 21 employees in Miamisburg. The Berry Company generates local business leads providing their clients with a full range of print, Internet and local search solutions.
