Reser’s Foods Plans To Add 500 Jobs in North Carolina

Reser’s Fine Foods, a national producer of prepared foods, will create 500 new jobs through the expansion of its processing plant in North Carolina.

The first phase of the expansion will be funded through a $1 million grant from the state in addition to a $15 million investment from the company, according to the Associated Press.

“We are all going through tough times and the people of Halifax County and northeastern North Carolina need to know that we are working aggressively to expand existing businesses and attract new ones,” said State Sen. Ed Jones.
