FBI Plans 3,450 New Hires This Year

The FBI said it plans to hire 3,450 new employees this year, which includes 900 special agents and 2,550 non-agent positions.

The agency will host several information sessions throughout the country during the coming months. The first of these is this week in St. Louis.

The non-agent positions include intelligence analysts, cyber-experts, scientists, translators and engineers, the Associated Press reports.
