texasflag_160x120Fujifilm North America Corp. announced that it will lay off 100 employees when it closes its facility in Terrell, Texas. Fujifilm North America is a subsidiary of Fujifilm Holdings Corporation. Its North American headquarters are located in Cypress, California. The employees being affected by the lay offs at the Texas facility are non union employees.

Fujifilm is the world’s largest photographic and imaging company. It manufactures motion picture film stock, color negative print films, professional black and white negative film, a variety of cameras, ex-ray film, digital ex-ray, digital mammography and Computed radiography device and other magnetic media. Fujifilm employees 76,358 and its international headquarters are located in Tokyo, Japan. The company was founded in 1934. Shigetaka Komori serves as the current President and CEO.
