Post Views 0Kimmel Center Inc., which oversees the Kimmel Center for Performing Arts in Philadelphia, is cutting 15 jobs amid a restructuring designed to save money. Kimmel Center said jobs are being cut in administration and that it will save the nonprofit organization $1.4 million a year.
“The performing arts marketplace continues to undergo major change and the pace of change is increasing,” Kimmel Center President and CEO Anne Ewers told the Philadelphia Business Journal. “The Kimmel Center must aggressively respond by becoming more efficient, addressing our communities’ diverse artistic interests and working even more closely with our resident companies.”
Kimmel Center supports and maintains several sites and is home to eight resident companies.
