bombardierBombardier Aerospace, a Canadian-based transportation company, is opening a new maintenance and repair facility at Macon Airport in Georgia that will create 180 new jobs. The company plans to invest $2 million in the operation.

The location in middle Georgia was selected because it fits with the companies two existing commercial aircraft service centers in Bridgeport, W. Va. and Tucson, Ariz., according to officials.  Bombardier Aerospace is based in Montreal.
