Pfizer Cuts 72 Jobs in New York
Post Views 0Pfizer has cut 72 jobs at its Pearl River, New York facility. Workers in Pfizer’s chemical Division at Pearl River will be laid off by May 21. Pfizer has already laid off 483 of 3,000 workers since October 15. Pfizer may lay off more employees in coming months depending on whether they close the manufacturing operations at the facility. The facility at Pearl River was originally a part of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, which Pfizer bought out last fall. Local officials believe that Pfizer plans to make approximately 650 lay offs in total in Pearl River.
