Tech Companies Bringing 250 Jobs to Rochester

new york flagA trio of technology companies coming to Rochester, N.Y. is expected to add a total of 250 jobs to the area. England-based venture firm Cody Gate Ventures said this week that Intrinsiq Materials, Quintel Technology and Omni-ID are all opening for business in Rochester’s Eastman Kodiak building.

According to the Associated Press, the three technology companies are involved in research and development as well as manufacturing of advanced technology. Intrinsiq, whose current staff of 30 consists largely of scientists and engineers, will have 158 employees in Rochester; Quintel will employ 68 people, and Omni-ID will have 24 workers.

According to the report, the jobs are to be filled over the next four years.
