Top Countries to Employ New Jobs in 2011 Revealed

manpower_logo Manpower Inc., a world leader in workforce solutions and the employment service industry, recently named the best countries for new jobs in 2011 based on their worldwide survey. The data was collected from 64,000 participants composed of human resource directors and senior hiring managers from public and private concerns worldwide. The respondents were highly diverse to get a macro-economic look at new job creation, in which 47% came from 10 countries in the Americas, 24% from eight countries in Asia and the Pacific, and 29% from Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The survey asked each of them about their expectations for hiring in the first quarter of 2011.

Based on the survey, the top countries with net hiring outlook for the first quarter of 2011 were: India with 42% followed behind by China with 40%, Taiwan with 37%, Turkey at 27% and Singapore with 26%. The countries rounding out the list include Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica and Argentina as well as Australia and Hong Kong.

Jeffrey Joerres, the chairman and chief executive of Manpower Inc., added “While many of the openings are for low-paying jobs, there are also plenty of opportunities for highly qualified professionals, especially in fields like geoengineering and information systems.”
