Gates Corporation Adds 58 Jobs To North Carolina

North Carolina can look forward to another 58 jobs being added to its economy, as Gates Corporation announces an expansion at their Ashe County plant.

According to the company, Gates will invest $4.6 million throughout the next four years. The company recently received a $100,000 incentive from the One North Carolina Fund.

According to state officials, the new jobs will come with salaries averaging at $24,723, falling below the county average of $27,508.

The Gates Corporation is a top manufacturer of automobile belts and hoses.
