This year’s political ads are becoming more and more like theatrical movie trailers. This is shown very clearly in Rick Perry’s new ad which plays very much like a commercial for an action movie.  He claims the aim of this is to be non-traditional and mainstream but this seems to be the new standard for political campaign ads.
