Peoplefluent Hires Laurence Kurzner

One of the leading Talent Management providers, Peoplefluent has announced that Laurence Kurzner has been appointed as the vice president of business development for the company. The reason for the move is to expand product and service offerings as well as customer reach. Kurzner is entering his second stint with Peoplefluent after gaining excellent exposure from leading industry companies. Those companies include Accenture, Mercer, and Aon Hewitt. Kurzner will work out of the Raleigh office for the company and will report to Isobel Harris, the senior vice president of account management, services, and support.

The chairman and CEO of Peoplefluent, Charles Jones, had the following to say about the appointment of Kurzner courtesy of MarketWatch.

Larry’s deep understanding of the Talent Management technology landscape and his breadth of relationships within the HCM marketplace are essential assets as we accelerate our market penetration to address the evolving requirements of our global customers. He has a tenacious drive and contagious energy, both of which will help propel our product vision and solutions in the market.”

Kurzner was previously employed by Peoplefluent and is the newest member of the management team at Peoplefluent. At Mercer, Kurzner was the principal and the global lead of strategy and business development for human capital connect inside the company’s $400 million human capital business. Kurzner was responsible for creating a program that was for Talent Management in the global marketplace. Kurzner, before his time at Mercer, was the senior vice president of strategic markets for Softscape, which was acquired by SumTotal. Kurzner had to report to the CEO of the company while creating new distribution partners and establishing a strong presence in the market for the company.

Prior to working at Softscape, Kurzner spent some time at Accenture Human Resources as the Director of Global Business Development. Kurzner was also in charge of sales, marketing, and strategic planning for AON’s HRO offerings. Kurnzer was partly responsible for building the $1.2 billion human resources services business for Mellon.

Kurzner attended Clark University and has picked up competitive rowing since school. He earned his bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Political Science from Clark. Kurzner also acquired his MBA from Northeastern University.
