JD Journal Releases Law Firm Bonus Survey

LawCrossing conducted a survey of law firms in the United States regarding lawyer salaries. The survey, called the LawCrossing Survey of Lawyer Salaries of Best Law Firms, was released on Wednesday on JD Journal. The survey asked lawyers a plethora of questions regarding firm demands, vacation time, benefits, associate life and a salary and bonus assessment. JD Journal posted the results in a well-organized chart that shows statistics for bonus and salary values for 2011, target bonus amounts for 2010, salary scale and factors used in determining each firm’s bonuses.

Some of the law firms that participated in the survey include Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, Baker Botts LLP, Clifford Chance LLP, Fenwick & West LLP, Jennifer & Block LLP, Linklaters, Ropes & Gray LLP, Venable LLP and WilmerHale to name a few.
