Although most companies require a college degree, business leaders are unsure of graduates with no work experience. 16 percent of employers feel graduates are ready for the work field while 54 percent of employers find it hard to find an employee that is skilled and knowledgeable. The article highlights the efforts of Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill., who has combined hands on training in addition to the academic in an effort make their graduates more prepared to meet the demands of what employers are looking for.
