Super Mario 3D World to Make Wii U Popular

The Wii U is the sequel to the very popular Nintendo Wii console, which sold over a hundred million consoles. However, this console is not looking to fare as well as its famous parent, and few people are actually buying them. Both the XBox One and the Playstation 4, the new consoles of Nintendo’s competitors, are seeing good sales but no real releases of interesting titles. That’s not unexpected, as most new consoles just don’t have good games that are worth playing at all. A new game for the Nintendo Wii U, Super Mario 3D World, is claimed by some critics to be one of the games that’s going to make Wii U a popular console. The Mario franchise has always been one of Nintendo’s big thing, and it’s what retro gamers have remembered from years past. However, this new game sets itself apart from the previous titles, it isn’t just a rehash of the same old thing. The main characters are able to turn into cats through the use of bells, or eat cherries to make a ‘duplicate’ of themselves. It’s kind of strange, but so was the fact that Mario jumped into warp pipes and ate red-and-white magic mushrooms that enlarged him.
