Post Views 0Because the state of the economy is often of primary importance in elections, President Obama may be in for a difficult re-election campaign due to current economic conditions, including an unemployment rate which has increased to 9.1%; manufacturing that is slowing in the US and internationally; housing prices showing a double dip; and, in the last month, the Dow losing almost 5% in value. With Republicans in control of the House, some of his options are limited.
