Toledo, Ohio Tells 234 to Update Resumes; Cuts Hours
Post Views 0Toledo, Ohio has issued layoff notices to 75 police officers, 17 fire department civilian workers, and 142 general-fund workers. Layoffs will begin May 1st.
Remaining city workers will see hours cut to 32 a week, representing a 20% pay cut.

The mayor’s office blamed a lack of concessions from unions for the layoffs.
The police department has 615 officers.
