ShopNBC to Cut 60 Jobs in Minnesota
Post Views 0ValueVision Media has cut 60 jobs, or 11% of its workforce, in an effort to reduce costs.
The cuts primarily affect workers at the firm’s Eden Prairie, Minnesota headquarters, and are spread across several departments, a company spokesman said.
ValueVision runs the ShopNBC television and online shopping network. In 2007, it cut 170 jobs, or 12% of its workforce. Last year, the company ousted its CEO, and later hired an investment banker to explore a possible sale of the company.
