Amusement Park Overwhelmed By Job Seekers
Post Views 10The Kings Island amusement park in Mason, Ohio is looking to fill about 4,000 seasonal jobs. Managers said they’ve already been overwhelmed with applications.
Many of the job seekers were high school and college students looking for summer work, but some applicants said they were victims of the recession.
“I had a weekend job and was laid off, in the housing market. So I’m just looking for something in the summer,” Monica Lung said.
The job fair is open again on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The park will open April 18, but staffing is traditionally done in plenty of time for training.
