Coca-Cola Creating Kentucky Jobs

Louisville, Kentucky, home to a Coca-Cola bottling facility, will soon be home to the company’s new information technology development center.

The 5,600 square foot development center will serve as an extension of IT services provided from their corporate headquarters in Atlanta.

This new venture will bring about 35 new high-tech jobs to Louisville, starting almost immediately. Most of those jobs will have salaries starting around $70,000 a year.

Coke wants to hire from the city’s local collegiate base to fill these new positions.

The state also provided up to $730,000 in tax benefits to Coke under the Kentucky Jobs Development Act.
