Rockwell Automation to Cut Jobs Globally

Rockwell Automation is cutting office and factory jobs worldwide this week, as part of an overall effort to reduce costs.

The firm declined to say how many employees will be losing their jobs, but said all would be offered severance packages and outplacement services.

Rockwell Automation is a global provider of industrial automation, power, control and information solutions. Its Brands in industrial automation include Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Software.

Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the company employs about 20,000 people.
