Deere & Co. Cut Jobs at Iowa Plant

Deere & Co. has announced it will lay off 40 workers at its plant in Ottumwa, Iowa.

The cuts will take effect April 20th. Production workers with the least experience will be affected.

Employees were informed this week.

The announcement comes less than a month after Deere said it would eliminate 325 positions at its plants in Dubuque and Davenport.
