Energy Composites to Create 400 Wisconsin Jobs

Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin Mayor Mary Jo Carson has announced a new factory that will create about 400 local jobs.

Energy Composites plans to begin construction on the 350,000 square foot plant as soon as this Spring.

Carson said the new factory will produce blades for wind turbines.

Energy Composites is the parent company of Advanced Fiberglass, which has a plant already operating in Wisconsin Rapids.
