Over 1,100 people lined up for 300 available jobs at Pro’s Ranch Market in Mesa, Arizona.
The California-based chain of upscale Hispanic groceries cut off people who arrived after 9 am, as it would take nine hours just to interview and process those who had already lined up.
The first person showed in line at about 3:30 am.
Another job fair is scheduled for Friday. The new store opens in late April.
