Media: BT to Slash Another 10,000 Jobs

Newspapers are reporting that BT Group will cut a further 10,000 jobs.

The job losses will be in addition to 10,000 made last year, and will be announced next month with the company’s finances.

A BT official called the story “speculation.” The company will make their formal announcement May 14th.

BT Group PLC, formerly British Telecom, is the privatized UK state telecommunications operator. BT operates in more than 170 countries.
