Cygnus Business Media Cuts 50 Editorial Jobs

Cygnus Business Media has cut 50 jobs across the company, targeting editorial and sales. The cuts affect 12% of the firm’s staff.

The magazines Lustre, Modern Jeweler, RV Trade Digest and Wood Digest will suspend operations. I don’t know what I’m going to do if I can’t read Wood Digest every month.

Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin’s Cygnus Business Media is an American magazine publisher, Internet developer, exposition management provider and custom marketing services company. It was founded in 1966 with the initial acquisition of Photo Trade News, a magazine founded in 1936 and discontinued in 2009.
