City of Honolulu Warns of Fake Jobs Online
Post Views 0The City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Human Resources has issued a warning to job seekers, that fraudulent job posts have appeared on Craigslist.
The city and county governments say they do not post jobs on the popular online classifieds site. The Honolulu Police are investigating the postings, amid worries that information contained in responses by job seekers could lead to identity theft.
City jobs can be found on Honolulu’s official website, or in daily papers. No actual city job application will ask for a social security numbers.
