First Data to Create 750 More GA Jobs

First Data, which recently announced it will relocate its headquarters back to Atlanta, bringing 250 jobs to the city, will in fact create 1,000 new positions.

The initial figure was intentionally conservative. The company used the 250 number because that’s the minimum number of jobs needed to qualify for state incentives.

First Data currently employs 750 in metro Atlanta.

Founded in 1969, First Data Corporation is a payment processing company and a provider of electronic commerce and payment solutions. The company’s STAR Network offers PIN-secured debit acceptance at ATM and retail locations.
